I loved the influx of tunes and acts that came my way in 2024. Algorithms and patient searches produced what I might describe as a 40-year throwback to sounds of the 1980’s, produced with passion by a whole new generation, adding their own unique imprints.
So my “Pick 40” for the year is catchy, melodic, edgy, traditional, twangy, sing-song and toe-tapping. Rarely slowing down to contemplate. Plowing forward into the wild unknowns of 2025.
Sequenced for flow and enjoyment. Get to it.
