Airmodular cast a retro spell with Synth-magical “It Comes At Night”

Airmodular has just released a new EP called “It Comes At Night.” The title track features some Alan Parsons Project-worthy synth work (Think “The Raven”) and glides in and around your eardrums with the ease of 1980’s hair gel.

Those opening drums tease that we are going to hear something Human League-esque. Just so you get the vibe and era, Airmodular mix and overlap both male and female vocals in ‘Night.’ It’s Cy Donovan and Azin Fahimi at work.

The song turns out to be something new and original though, even taking the time for a pensive bridge amongst the rolling synth waves.
