Reader Votes Keep The Vanrays On Top Of UncleEars.com New Music Chart; 8 New Songs Debut (November 27, 2022)

We asked for help deciding which of four songs should be at number one on the November 27, 2022 UncleEars.com New Music Top 40 Chart. A poll was posted giving the option to vote for any one of the top four. In the end “Ghosts” by The Vanrays had an easy time keeping the top spot after the final results were counted. Tapes In Motion showed well and keep their second place position with “The End Of It All.” In fact, the top four remain the same this week. Check it out below.

Lorraine-Dietrich (earlier coverage) make a strong debut at #9 with the jumpy post punk pop song “Yearn.” Bert Jerred also jumps into the chart in the top ten with “Here Comes A Light.”

In a surfing surprise, “July” by Surf Haven! is the biggest mover of the week. The tune has been hanging around the lower levels of the chart for weeks but leaps 12 spots this time around.

The second 20 list is highlighted by six new songs. Welcome aboard to The Blue Dawns, a second single for Ian Poole, Lonewolves in Paradise, Bad Luck, A cast Of Thousands and Friendly Antenna.

Eight debuts mean we say goodbye to eight previous hits. Dropping out this week are songs from GIFT, Blaster, Sorvest, The Lost And Found, Dearie, Top Deck, The Lucky 13’s and Saint Solitude.
