Tilburg, Netherlands band Mood Bored have released two singles in 2022. The first (see live version below) was called “Easy Going.” The latest (see video above) is “Pour Into Me.”
The trio of Daan Stuyve, Myrte Marilène Driesenaar and Timotheus de Wit wrote “Pour Into Me.” They make up the band with Daan on lead guitar and Myrte doing the vocals and bass while Tim handles drums. They are signed with Mattan Records. They performed this year at Popronde.

“Pour Into Me” is a pop song with alternative touches. It’s got the pensive intro, the jangle guitar and then the solid female vocal lead. There’s a whispy, smoky, raspy textured laid over the hooks. A casual but infectious energy drives the beat. A mulling pause, then back for more.
The song debuted at #19 on last week’s Uncle Ears New Music Top 40 Chart. It looks to rise in the weeks ahead.
You can imagine summer in the not-too-distant past as you hear “Pour Into Me.” It has a summery sheen and carefree vibe. Memories echo and warm rays still shine within the wall of sound created in the song. Ears full. Stay close so you don’t feel like you’re empty.
