Single “Thanks, I Hate It” By Idle Wave Is A Radio-Ready Hit In Waiting

“Thanks, I Hate It” by Idle Wave (Spotify) is two minutes of cool sounds, catchy hooks and alternative pop bliss. It’s all delivered in a sort of deadpan chill that fits the sentiment the song wants to send.

“Thanks, I Hate It” by Idle Wave should be charting right now nationally. Step it up, peeps. (#29 on Uncle Ears New Music Top 40 last week.)

I think you might agree that this has “hit” written all over it. (Hey alternative / pop radio, what’s up?) Maybe that will happen when Idle Wave releases “California” on October 27. Is “California” a new single or a full LP? We’ll know soon. Here is a likely clue (new song.)

“Thanks, I Hate It” made its debut on the Uncle Ears New Music Top 40 last week at #29. It looks like a climber.

Time to check out the New Jersey band and see what they have to love.
