“New Manchester?” “The next wave of rock and roll?” Some are buzzy about Afflecks Palace, and the band’s latest release “Dancing Is Not A Crime” will only fuel the flames of proclamation.
Everyday blokes with an understanding of chord progression and a love of making music. It’s as simple as it is difficult. But here we have a driving drum beat, jangling guitars and fun-forward vocals working together to make us move.
Then the chorus (or is it the bridge?) takes us even higher with a surprise shift. Sweet.

The only thing missing is the wail of guitars —oh wait— that’s how the lads finish it up. Leaving the listener with no choice but to hit the replay button.
