A wall of sound envelopes the hot says of summer in CIEL’s (“See-el”) banger “Baby Don’t You Know.” You’re in your car, windows down. You keep pressing the repeat button long after the sun has faded.
It’s fuzz and melody. It’s a lover reaching out. You turn it up.
All senses all at once, and then the rest of the year spent dreaming back to the moment. It only lasts for just over two minutes, but that’s what that button is for.

Brighton based trio Ciel serve up another fuzzy garage rock meets bubblegum pop single. Baby Don’t You Know is a song about a girl waiting for her lover to arrive, who is out all night, painting the town. Somehow she manages to contain her anger, but it is obvious that the rogue significant other is reaching the end of her patience.
