The main thing is to have fun. That’s the recipe for success in recreating the classic garage sound of the 1960’s. It also helps if you can deliver on the playing side. The Televisionaries can and do on 2022 track “Mad About You.”
Life is simple when it boils down to one desire and the jangle of guitars. Time is a daydream, just being mad about someone to the point that one more look might require therapy. It’s a recipe for danger and overdose…but treated with a surfabilly soundtrack it’s just another bright shiny night in the garage.
Three brothers (Trevor, Brendan and Austin Lake) and a friend (Aaron Mika) form The Televisionaries. A group of 20-somethings from Rochester, in the north of the state of NY, who recover the essences of surf, frat, garage and sixties pop with great mastery.

The bigger questions will not be asked: Will a line be crossed? Will attraction turn into something sinister, uncontrollable? These are for another song on another day. “Mad About You” just want’s to let you know that a spark is there. There may yet come a time for flames.
Now is the time to celebrate the start of the crush. It’s something worth clapping your hands about.
