The Green Pajamas are timeless. Their sounds exists outside of years and clocks and calendars, instead marking the march of change with poetic lyrics and the yearning jangle of reflective guitar strings.
“All The Lost Kisses,” hitting in early 2022, is a lovely taster for what the group has done before. Jeff Kelly (Facebook link) writes, performs, sings and infuses “Kisses” with a longing for a return to a place only heightened in romance by the passing of days.
It’s a magic act to capture moments in words. It’s a continual revelation to convey melancholic nostalgia with the plucking of strings.
No matter if the world was never really that way. We can make peace with the past by elevating it, by making the fog deeper, dreaming that choices were taken well, asking our hearts only to hold tight to the warmest remnants.
